Prairie Chicken Program this Thursday, October 22nd, at 7PM in the Danville Public Library

Bob Gillespie, IDNR Natural Resources Coordinator of Prairie Ridge State Natural Area, will be the guest speaker at the October Middlefork Audubon meeting. Bob has been integral in the recovery project at Prairie Ridge and will be bringing sounds and images to tell his story of restoring the prairie chicken to the Illinois landscape. Come learn about leks, booms, and more as we explore this rare species of Illinois! The evening will begin with a short business meeting followed by the program and refreshments. Hope you can join us!
