Join us Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Danville Public Library to hear David Weible. The event is free and open to the public. Snacks will be provided.
Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in SW Florida is the subject of the May 22 program. David and Diane Weible have been fortunate to visit this remarkable sanctuary during the past
eight winters. Corkscrew Sanctuary includes multiple habitats, of greatest importance being “the largest remaining tract of ancient bald cypress forest left in the world.” The story of the swamp and its wildlife will be shared in photos and spoken word. Audubon has done and is doing important work in the world, with Corkscrew Sanctuary being one of our most beautiful jewels.
