June 22 Picnic at Kennekuk County Park

Middlefork Audubon invites you to a picnic at Hickory Hollow Shelter in Kennekuk County Park on Thursday, June 22. Come enjoy an evening with friends at this lovely place! Weather permitting, we will start the evening with a short hike to view birds and wildlife from 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM followed by a potluck/picnic dinner. Bring your own plates, tableware, and a dish to share. Iced tea, water, and lemonade will be provided, or you can bring your own drinks. We will attempt, once again, to call in a barred owl or two and look for summer birds around the picnic area. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars! We will have a few extra pairs on hand for anyone who needs them.
