Directions: Enter the park off Henning Road. turn left at Visitors Center and travel west to end of road. White Oak Barn is opposite new Environmental Center.

Brian Stearns is a wildlife photographer specializing in wild animals in their natural habitats. The Middle Fork River and its environs is one area where he concentrates his attention. Brian is the President of Champaign County Audubon Society, and he and his wife, Susan, are both active in the Middle Fork Audubon Society. Brian is a featured speaker before birding organizations, and his presentations have delighted volunteers and staff in the Champaign County Forest Preserve District.

The Eco-Justic Collaborative is running a campaign to ensure that Dynegy-Midwest Generation moves its toxic coal ash out of the floodplain of the Middle Fork of the Vermilion River and places it in on their property, away from the river, in properly-constructed, lined facilities.
